At about 1:05 p.m. on Feb. 2, two elderly women were walking in the 2200 block of Riverside Drive when they were approached by an individual, the Ottawa Police Service stated in a news release May 11. Both women — one of them using a walker — were assaulted before the person left the scene on foot, police said. One woman suffered minor injuries.
