Ashanti Bello was last seen on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 3:15 p.m. in the Como Crescent/Varennes Boulevard area, police said in a release on Sunday.

No photo of the missing teen was provided, but police described Bello as a Black female who is about 5-2 and has a medium build. They stated that she may be wearing a long black wig and was wearing a football crop top T-shirt, short blue jeans and was without shoes.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Bello was asked to call the Ottawa police at 613-236-1222. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 or at crimestoppers.ca.
