All home postseason games will be held at the Ottawa Senators’ Canadian Tire Centre, the Charge announced just minutes after the it clinched a postseason berth with a 3-0 win over the Toronto Sceptres.

Earlier this season, the Charge set a league attendance record in Ottawa during its only game of the season at the Canadian Tire Centre, as more than 17,000 fans packed into the building on April 3 as Ottawa fell 3-0 to the Montreal Victoire.

However, fans have also expressed concerns about the venue’s location in Kanata, located about 25 kilometres west of downtown Ottawa.

“We love the fans we’ve drawn to TD (Place), especially the past few games, but looking forward to really packing CTC for the playoffs with a bigger, louder crowd, so let’s pack it when we can,” Charge goaltender Gwyneth Philips said minutes after the venue change was announced.

While the PWHL has previously said it will not be playing at the smaller-capacity arena approved by Ottawa city council as part of Lansdowne 2.0, the league has yet to announce any long-term plans for an alternate venue.

Season-ticket members will have exclusive access to purchase 2026 playoff tickets over the weekend. Public playoff packages and single-game tickets will go on sale April 27.

The Charge’s playoff opponent and schedule are still to be determined, and will depend on final standings to be settled Saturday night as the last games of the regular season wrap up.

Going into games Saturday night, it had not yet been decided if Boston or Montreal would finish in top spot and select a semifinal opponent between Ottawa and Minnesota within 24 hours of the standings being solidified.
