On April 22, BILD was honoured to recognize the winners of the 2026 GTA RenoMark Awards at a ceremony held in Vaughan, Ontario. With 150 renovators and custom home builders in attendance, the event was a celebration of excellence in renovation and custom home building at a time when innovation and industry leadership matter more than ever.

Started in 1999, the awards recognize professional renovators and custom home builders for their quality of work, innovation, customer service, and industry leadership. Over the years, the program has continued to grow and is the largest of its kind in Canada.

This year, BILD received 85 top-tier submissions across 20 categories for the awards. Submissions were evaluated by 18 industry professionals from across the country who served as volunteer judges.

The top honours went to Sunnylea Homes, which was named Renovator of the Year and Lanescape, which was named Custom Builder of the Year.

MENATWORK were another notable winner, taking home six awards including Best Overall Home Renovation and Best Kitchen Renovations over and under $100,000.

In the space renovation categories, Pine Glen Homes won for Best Basement Renovation. While Lifestyles by Barons Inc took home the award for Best Washroom Renovation.

There were seven winners in the home renovation categories, including Master Edge Homes for Best Adaptiv Renovation, which is also referred to as accessible or “aging in place” design.

Adaptive design helps make life easier for anyone who may experience challenges navigating built spaces. From the elderly who rely on walkers, to those using wheelchairs, adaptive renovation prioritizes design that helps support independence, safety and spontaneity.

From architects and renovators, to builders and developers – they all play an important role in removing the barriers that people with disabilities and those wishing to age in their homes face every day.

Norseman Construction and Alair Homes Toronto (Forest Hill) won awards in the custom home categories. While Sunnylea Homes was also awarded Best Condominium Renovation and JY Construction for Best Commercial Renovation.
