The good news for many people is that beer, wine, cider and ready-to-serve cocktails are about to be ready for sale in convenience stores, gas stations, grocery stores and other outlets in the national capital and across Ontario.

The unfortunate news for many people is the liquor sales won’t be ready for the Labour Day holiday weekend.

Sales will begin on Thursday, Sept. 5.
