Spoiler Alert !!!
This article contains spoilers from One Piece Chapter 1195.
Zoro’s battle against Saint Shepherd Sommers in One Piece has quietly become one of the most important power-ups for the Straw Hat swordsman in the Final Saga. What started as a fight against an enemy who could keep regenerating has turned into a lesson in controlling Conqueror’s Haki. One Piece Chapter 1194 made that clear, as Roronoa Zoro finally began understanding the power he had struggled to use consistently.
Now, the early spoilers for One Piece Chapter 1195 (via u/bosak_tpn on Reddit) take that development a step further. Zoro is reportedly ready to finish Sommers with a new move called “Divine Death,” while reactions from Imu, Gaban, and Usopp underline just how serious the attack looks. And the attack could mark the next stage of his swordsmanship rather than simply another King of Hell or similar move.

Chapter 1194 of One Piece already gave Zoro the missing piece he was looking for. After surviving the initial attack from Zoro, Sommers realized that the Straw Hat swordsman possessed Conqueror’s Haki but could not control it properly. That weakness explained why some of Zoro’s attacks could cut through Sommers while others failed to damage his heart. Zoro then used the fight almost like a training ground, repeatedly testing his Haki until Mihawk’s old lesson helped him understand what he was missing.
The ending of Chapter 1194 was especially important because Zoro finally appeared capable of deliberately flowing Conqueror’s Haki through his three swords. That is a major difference from simply having the ability. Zoro had already used Advanced Conqueror’s Haki during his battle with King in Wano, but Chapter 1194 suggests that controlling it with greater precision is the real step forward.
The early One Piece Chapter 1195 spoilers now show the payoff. Zoro reportedly overwhelms Sommers and finishes him with a new technique, which is translated as “Divine Death.” According to the spoiler, the chapter also shows Imu reacting to Zoro’s Haki, while Gaban recognizes that Zoro has finally understood something he was struggling with.
Then the chapter reportedly ends with Zoro and the ship falling into the Underworld, leaving the move itself as the biggest talking point. That makes the attack feel less like a random finishing move and more like the result of Zoro finally putting together everything he has learned.
Zoro’s Next Power-Up in One Piece Could Make King of Hell Look Outdated
Roronoa Zoro from the One Piece anime. | Credit: Toei AnimationKing of Hell was a huge milestone for Zoro because it brought together Enma, his three-sword style, and Advanced Conqueror’s Haki. During the King fight in Wano, Enma forced Zoro to release enormous amounts of Haki, eventually helping him understand the sword and push his strength to a new level.
But the Elbaf battle introduces something different. Zoro is no longer simply forcing out more power. He is learning to control the power already inside him. That distinction is the reason his next attack is set to become more dangerous than King of Hell. The setup strongly points toward an attack based on refined Conqueror’s Haki rather than raw output. And that would also make it a natural evolution of Zoro’s swordsmanship.
King of Hell showed how much power Zoro could unleash. His next technique in Chapter 1195 could show how perfectly he can control it. Now the big question: Could “Divine Death” become his first attack that represents his peak as a swordsman? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
