This revelation changes the way readers may view her character. The spoilers further reveal that Gunko is the daughter of the Holy Knight Growlo. The resemblance between the two characters reportedly becomes much clearer in this chapter, suggesting that Esperia’s tragedy may be connected to larger events involving the Holy Knights.

Another shocking moment comes when Gunko attempts to stab Brook in the head before leaving the kingdom. Brook survives the incident, but the experience is apparently so traumatic that he suppresses the memory and convinces himself it was only a dream. After the flashback ends, the story returns to present-day Elbaf, where the battle involving Imu and Loki continues.
