How Ayanokoji Saves Himself From Expulsion
Upon arriving at I2, Ayanokoji confronts Acting Chairman Tsukishiro and Class 1-D’s homeroom teacher, Shiba-sensei. Since their previous plan to expel Ayanokoji by using first-year students had failed, they took matters into their own hands and tried to settle things with him personally. Although Ayanokoji initially seemed to struggle a bit in a two-on-one situation, Kiryuin soon joined him and offered a helping hand.
With Kiryuin there, Ayanokoji could fully focus on Tsukishiro, and it didn’t take him long to gain the upper hand. But how exactly did Ayanokoji bring the fight to a close? He had already set things in motion and falsely informed the teachers that students from Classes 2-A and 2-D had collapsed at their location. Naturally, Chabashira-sensei came to the rescue, and her arrival essentially forced Tsukishiro and Shiba-sensei to stop fighting.
And that’s how, at the end of another season, Ayanokoji survives yet another major threat.
The Uninhabited Island Exam’s Final Winners Revealed
Koenji Rokusuke from Classroom of the Elite Season 4 Episode 16 | Credits: Studio LercheOn the night of the final day of the exam, the results of the Uninhabited Island Special Test were revealed. As promised to Horikita, Koenji from Class 2-D topped the leaderboard with 327 points. Because of him, Nagumo’s group from Class 3-A had to settle for second place with 325 points. Finally, Sakayanagi’s group from Class 2-A was announced in third place with 261 points. Ayanokoji’s actual score on the test, however, still had not been revealed by the end of Season 4. But that doesn’t really matter.
The five students with the lowest scores who were expelled were all from Class 3-A, as Nagumo apparently did not provide them with any support. As a result, no students from Years 1 or 2 were expelled. This alone comes across as a major victory for Ayanokoji’s class, publicly known as Horikita’s class. But what are the class standings among the Year 2 classes after Classroom of the Elite Season 4, Episode 16?
What Section Does Ayanokoji’s Class End Up in After Season 4?
A still from Classroom of the Elite Season 4 Episode 16 | Credits: Studio LercheAs revealed after the Uninhabited Island Exam results, Ayanokoji’s class climbs back up to Rank C once again, pushing Ryuen’s class down to Rank D. Horikita further mentions that the point gap between their class and Ichinose’s class, Class 2-B, is now minuscule. With another decisive victory, they could easily reach Rank B soon. If you want to know the exact current point totals for each class, as shown at the end of Classroom of the Elite Season 4, Episode 16, we’ve provided a complete list below:
| YEAR 2 CLASSES | CURRENT CLASS POINTS |
| Sakayanagi’s Class | 1206 |
| Ichinose’s Class | 578 |
| Horikita’s Class | 571 |
| Ryuen’s Class | 551 |
With this result, Ayanokoji has certainly come out victorious, just as he planned. However, several first-year students appear completely devastated, as their objective of expelling Ayanokoji from the academy has failed. Among the second-year students, however, the atmosphere remains calm, despite Ryuen being pushed to the brink.
The third-year students also seem largely unaffected, even after five of their classmates were expelled. But amid all of this, the identity of the secret White Room student was not explicitly revealed. Although the hints suggest it may be Amasawa, that cannot be confirmed just yet. With Classroom of the Elite Season 5 now confirmed, we may get our answers in the next installment. Who do you think the real mastermind could be? Let us know in the comments below.
