One driver was pronounced dead at hospital while another had non-life-threatening injuries following a two-vehicle collision in south Ottawa on Thursday afternoon.

The Ottawa Police Service said officers responded to the scene of the crash in the 2600 block of River Road just after 1 p.m. on Oct. 30.

The Fatal Collision Investigations Unit was investigating, police said in a news release. Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam or surveillance video of the fatal crash, but has not yet spoken to police.
