Michael Olise was named Man of the Match after scoring Bayern's second goal in a 5-1 win over VfB Stuttgart. The Frenchman hit the post early in the first half with a free kick, but restored Bayern's lead in the second half with a nice finish past Fabian Bredlow.

Olise scored again in the 63rd minute, but his goal was narrowly ruled offside. He did set up Bayern's fourth goal with a long ball to Ismael Saibari, who found Aleksandar Pavlović unmarked in the box to essentially put the game away.

The winger was the source of constant transfer rumors this summer, but has stayed in Bavaria and is already off to a strong start. He scored and assisted in the Supercup in Bayern's opener against Borussia Dortmund last Saturday.

Olise received 65% of the Man of the Match votes. VfB goalkeeper Fabian Bredlow finished second, with 13%, while Joshua Kimmich finished third with 12%. Upamecano, Pavlović, and Davies rounded off the voting.
