Jano ter Horst has officially transferred from recently relegated second-division side Preußen Münster to SC Paderborn.

The newly promoted Bundesliga team reported that transfer fee of over €300,000 will be paid to their former league rivals.

Ter Horst is expected to be a direct replacement for right-back Laurin Curda, who is linked with 1.FC Köln and Hamburger SV.

Last season, the 23-year-old was one of Preußen Münster's better performers, providing three assists in 32 appearances.

“Jano's profile is a great fit for our club. He's versatile in defense,” said SCP sporting director Sebastian Lange about the signing.

"He's also fast, a team player, and has potential for further development. Jano also impresses with his tremendous mentality and excellent physical attributes.

“We're really looking forward to him at SC Paderborn and are convinced he'll showcase his qualities in the Bundesliga.”
