Set five years after the events of Season 2, childhood friends played by Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie and Maude Apatow wrestle with grown-up problems surrounding faith, redemption and the problem of evil. “Euphoria cracked my heart open,” Zendaya said on a recent episode of The Drew Barrymore Show. “I owe so much to that show. Rue (her character) taught me so much about empathy and about redemption. She taught me a lot, and I’m very grateful for all of it.”
