Police are hunting for a 46-year-old man believed to be armed and dangerous after an incident in Mississauga left two people hospitalized with serious injuries.

Peel Regional Police said they responded to reports of a disturbance Thursday at about 7 p.m. in the Hurontario St.-Lakeshore Rd. area of Port Credit, where a large police presence was reported.

Victims in life-threatening condition: Report

Peel paramedics told CP24 that they performed life-saving measures on the victims and that they were transported to a hospital in life-threatening condition.

Details were not immediately available on what type of injuries the victims had and the circumstances leading up to the disturbance.

Police said they are looking for Jordan Sangwin, 46, “in connection with this investigation.

“Do not approach, please call 911 if seen,” police said, adding that Sangwin is considered armed and dangerous.
