No, we don’t have to accept a bad deal with the U.S. Yes, we need to expand our trade reach outside of North America to ensure our future. But no, that does not mean joining the EU, even as an associate member. Having to suborn ourselves to the rules of an entity an ocean away gains us nothing. We already have the ability to increase trade with the EU. Canada is uniquely rich in what the world will need in the future. Don’t sell that future for political expediency, Mr Carney!

What is up with our PM’s obsession with joining the EU? He failed to stop Brexit, so now he wants to drown us in the septic quagmire that is the European economy. And he appears to be setting about this without consulting either Parliament or the Canadian people. So, once again, Carney is about to take us where nobody wants to go.

CARNEY SELLING OUT CANADIANS
Mark Carney is answering to his WEF and EU overlords. Selling out Canadian sovereignty worse than if we were (laughable) the 51st state. The EU will, mark my words, tell Canada how many immigrants it will take in, and collect Canadian tax dollars for the EU’s green initiatives, Canada will have to open its markets, including dairy, much worse than what the U.S. wants access to. Many people do not understand that the EU is run by unelected officials. That is not democratic.
