Mr. Snobelen’s article (Sept. 13) seems to suggest that Trump lacks some courage to face reality. His analysis seems off base to me. Getting shot at in the head and getting up after and raising your fist definitely suggests courage to me. ABC allowed the Democratic party’s reality to go unchecked. Media seems to accept the Dem’s party’s reality even when it’s a blatant misquote lie taken out of context. The cats and dog thing seems far-fetched but in today’s world nothing is completely out of the question.

Re “It’s fun to go back in time for wonton soup and doughnuts” (Joe Warmington, Sept. 15): How I wish I lived in Niagara Falls after reading the Joe Warmington article about the old style “Country Fresh Donuts” cafe there. Please, Mr. Tu, come and open up a new shop near my Brampton mall before I get old and I’ll be in there every day for at least my favourite wonton soup … eaten with chopsticks, of course. I’ll pay with cash too … well, doesn’t everybody? And no wi-fi? What’s that? At least they have a daily SUN paper there just like my Burger King does here. Life can’t get much better than that, can it?

The Trudeau government is like Seinfeld, a show about nothing. In our latest episode, Freeland (Elaine), megamouths from the brownstone that they will amortize mortgages over 30 years. And that means exactly what? You still have to renegotiate with the money changers for renewal. Why, oh why so? The money paid, finances in order — the best for housing is to amortize and lock in for any term up to 30. You know exactly what your obligations are, how long repayment is. Stability for all involved.
