LEARNING TOOL
Warren Kinsella’s July 3 column “What sets us apart” absolutely hit the nail on the head in expressing the thoughts and values of myself and I’m certain a great many Canadians. It should be made compulsory reading for the youngsters in our education system.

LIBERAL BIAS?
While Warren Kinsella’s July 3 column was interesting and mostly right on the money, I find it curious that he mostly blames Donald Trump. He states that Canadians are most concerned about jobs, housing and immigration (I would also add emergency health care), and appears to blame Trump. Kinsella’s deep Liberal roots are showing. Canada’s problems all predate Trump. I do agree with the assertion that too much immigration, especially those with non-Christian/Judeo values, is the cause of most of Canada’s problems. The direct cause is the Liberal government’s policies of open immigration and failure to monitor and/or remove those not following our rules. Come on, Kinsella, lay the blame where it lies.

NOT A FAN
Is the Warren Kinsella July 5 column “Get what you vote for” a joke? I am 90 and believe hatred, if such an emotion does exist, may be apparent only in those of unsound mind. They say Trump Derangement Syndrome is a thing but holy crap, Kinsella, pull yourself together and get a grip. The president will be gone in two years but your life span could be shortened by such hatred.
