SLUMMING IT
God forbid that Donald Trump gets his hands on Canada. Trump has plenty of experience managing slum properties, so Canada is well above his standards. At the rate he is going, America will become a gaudy slum, dotted with tributes to who? Why, Donald J. Trump, of course. Only then will Trump really drive America into the ground. The worst is to come. I seriously doubt he has time to try to take on Canada, with the wonderful job that he and his administration are doing with America, Venezuela, Cuba and Iran, along with his lofty ambitions for Greenland. Colonialism at its best. I like Canada as it is and would prefer that it not become an “Americanized” slum. Peddle your crap elsewhere, Donald. We don’t have an open position for a slumlord.

HOPE FOR JUSTICE
There is not much about the American political system I admire with the exception of, in some instances, electing judges. Myself, after years of mismanagement by the Liberals and Conservatives — and me not foolish enough to vote NDP — I like the term Independent. What better way to tell the political elite of this country that your years of incompetency, corruption and a general lack of concern for the populace could be reaching an end. We can only hope for a government truly representing the people.
