Kamala Harris' touching response after hearing about Taylor Swift's endorsement for her presidential campaign

After the latest presidential debate, Taylor Swift made know her position regarding who is she supporting to be the next leader of the United States. She went public on social media that she was endorsing Kamala Harris over Donald Trump and everyone started talking.

The singer stated that she will vote for Kamala because "she fights for rights and because I think we need a warrior to defend them." After all this, now the current Vice President has also been vocal about how she feels about this support, and she has not been shy on the matter.

"I am very proud to have the support of Taylor Swift. She is an incredible artist," said the Democratic candidate in a recent interview. "I really respect the courage she has had in her career to stand up for what she believes is right," she added and with a smile on her face, according to sources.

Different football teams though

Now even after the kind words, sports was a big topic of conversation for presidential candidate, as let's not for that Taylor Swift is currently in a relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Kamala Harris had no hesitation on speaking on the matter.

"But we were on different sides of the Super Bowl last year," she said. "I am a 49ers fan, but who's mad at anyone for being loyal to their team, right?" The joke was all for fun and games.

After the debate, Donald Trum was asked about his thoughts on Taylor Swift supporting Kamala Harris on television and he replied "she will probably pay a price for it in the market."
