Jessica Alba's house-husband Cash Warren could get $2m a year in divorce from wealthy wife

Jessica Alba's husband, Cash Warren, could walk away with a staggering $2 million annually in spousal support if the couple decides to divorce, according to legal expert Goldie Schon. The family law specialist, speaking exclusively with The U.S. Sun, explained that even a prenuptial agreement might not shield Alba from hefty payments due to California's progressive spousal support laws.

Despite being married for 16 years, Warren, a producer who hasn't worked in Hollywood since 2015, could claim significant spousal support given Alba's immense wealth. As the co-founder of The Honest Company, valued at $609 million, Alba's financial success puts her in a position to provide extensive support.

Schon stated, "Even if there's a prenuptial agreement, the court can deem it unconscionable and still order spousal support. Long-term marriages like theirs rarely see strict limitations on support duration."

Child support could reach staggering figures

The couple shares three children, and Alba may be required to pay up to $60,000 monthly in child support, in addition to covering other expenses to maintain the children's lifestyle. Schon emphasized that high-income cases often include provisions for private school tuition, travel accommodations, and even security costs.

California law mandates that child support reflects the lifestyle of both parents, meaning Warren's income disparity would significantly impact the terms.

A long road ahead

Rumors of marital strain surfaced when Alba, 43, was recently spotted without her wedding ring at public events and during a family trip to Rome. Sources suggest a divorce filing could be imminent, but no official steps have been taken.

Reflecting on marriage challenges in 2024, Alba said, "You ebb and flow in relationships, but you find your way back to each other." Despite those sentiments, the couple's future remains uncertain.
