Bayern Munich's Nathaniel Brown has hinted that we could be getting used to seeing him in an attacking No.10 role more this season.

A full-back typically, Brown produced a goal in the Bavarians' 2-1 Supercup victory over Borussia Dortmund last Saturday.

“I had already played a few minutes there against Aston Villa and also against Heidenheim," he explained while on Sport1.

"The day before the game [vs. Dortmund] I also played there in training, so I thought I'd play the role in the game as well.

“I think I'm a player who is smart on the pitch, and who looks for the free space between the sixes and Harry. It's very cool,” he added.

In a separate interview with Absolut Bayern, the 23-year-old described the feeling from that Supercup victory in Dortmund:

“New position, new style. I'm not someone that scores goals every game. So the moment I scored and celebrated with the boys was incredible and very nice.

"When you play for such a big team, you want to win titles. That's my goal as well. That [Super Cup] was my first, but I want to keep going”.
