Selma Blair is not putting a pin in her schedule after her recent arrest.

The “Hellboy” actress will still make her debut appearance at the upcoming 90s Con event in Connecticut this weekend. The event is said to feature other industry stars from classic 90s TV shows like “Full House” and iconic music bands like “Backstreet Boys.”

Selma Blair was recently arrested and charged after throwing a fit and injuring flight attendants on a Delta Airlines plane on Sunday, October 11.

In light of her recent troubles, it is not far-fetched that the 90s Con annual event organizers saw the need to reconfirm her presence at the upcoming event. That’s 4Entertainment, which runs the event, confirmed Blair’s attendance via their Instagram story shared on October 13.

“Selma Blair will be joining us at 90s Con as planned. See you there!” they wrote in the post over their signature purple background. While she has attended other pop-culture conventions in previous years, this appearance will mark her first at 90s Con.

In a previous Instagram post shared on September 2, That’s 4Entertainment announced that the “Legally Blond” actress would be available for autographs, selfies, professional photo ops, and part of a Q&A panel over the course of the weekend.

The event is scheduled to take place from Friday, October 16, till Sunday, October 18, at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, Connecticut.

State And Federal Charges May Be In Sight For The Actress

The same day Blair was arrested, That’s 4Entertainment shared the full panel schedule, and Blair’s name was not included. This raised questions among fans about whether she would still be at the event.

The event production company reportedly told a commenter that Blair had “elected to spend more time at the table to meet fans.” It should be noted that the post was shared hours before her arrest.

The Hollywood star appeared in court on October 12 for her arraignment on two counts of assault on an officer and a nurse. The judge set bail at $20,000 cash, $60,000 bond, or a $60,000 partially secured bond, and she was released later in the evening.

An insider who spoke to PEOPLE revealed that Blair would likely face both state and federal charges as a result of the incident. She allegedly kicked a Port Authority Police Officer and a registered nurse in the face, neck, and chest.

Selma Blair Was Overwhelmed By Emotions During Court Appearance

The Blast shared that during Blair’s appearance before Judge Indira Kahn, tears flowed down her cheeks as the charges against her were read. She ultimately pleaded not guilty to two counts of second-degree assault, and her next court date was set for January 2027.

The “Cruel Intentions” star’s tearful appearance in court was a stark contrast to her reported demeanor on the flight and en route to the hospital. According to audio obtained from an eyewitness, Blair could be heard “screaming bloody murder” as she was removed from the aircraft and handed over to law enforcement officials.

On the plane, the mom of one was allegedly engaged in a fiery exchange with two flight attendants, biting one and punching another. The airplane crew members reportedly suffered injuries, including a cut and a bloody nose. Delta Air Lines maintained that it has “zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior” and continues to uphold the safety of its customers and crew.

Blair Previously Hit A Career Low

Just last week, Blair reflected on a time when she suffered a professional setback after a social media comment went viral and sparked criticism. She recalled that the backlash affected her professional relationships as well as her personal bonds with friends and fellow entertainers.

“Thank you so much. Deport all these terrorist-supporting goons. Islam has destroyed Muslim countries and then they come here and destroyed minds. They know they are liars. Twisted justifications. May they meet their fate,” she wrote in the since-deleted comment.

Even after issuing an apology for her words that were viewed as being Islamophobic, Blair revealed that her agency, manager, lawyer, and multiple publicists severed ties with her. According to The Blast, even her son’s godmother and best friend burned bridges with her after the controversial 2024 incident.

After the TV star was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2018, she stepped away from her career to focus on her health. She disclosed that she underwent rounds of chemotherapy and stem cell treatment to treat the disease.

Blair then became heavily focused on advocacy work and continued to raise awareness for people living with disabilities. “Everyone’s experience with MS is different. I think I do have a certain place [to speak publicly]. My big mouth likes to see what I can do about stigma,” she told news outlets last year.

Last December, she spoke to E! News expressing her excitement to get back into her acting shoes. She said she was “really ready to work” and teased a physical transformation to get back to her O.G. look. She recently starred in the 2025 Israeli drama film, “Stay Forte.”
