Invincible Season 4 Episode 8: Release Date, Global Time and What to Expect

Invincible, Season 4, Episode 7, Don’t Do Anything Rash, really introduced the audience to Thragg. While the other episodes with the character saw him largely take a back seat, this episode was able to show audiences why Thragg was grand regent of the Viltrumites, retroactively also scaling the likes of Argall and Thaedus. Fans learned that Thaedus was actually one of Argall’s chief enforcers and was thought of highly by Thragg as well. Episode 8 is now set to be released on April 22, 2026.

However, by the end of the show, the woes of the Viltrumites were only multiplied, with Thaedus, Mark, and Nolan, aided by Space Racer, destroying Viltrum itself. Thaedus dead, Allen in charge of the Coalition, and Mark’s revelation that Thragg and his remaining forces are headed to Earth. The finale is likely to change the show’s status quo, which is fundamental to Invincible as a superhero show. The episode is expected to be released on April 22, 2026. What Can Fans Expect From Invincible, Season 4, Episode 8?

The season finale for the current installment of Invincible is going to see the heroes return to Earth, in a bid to stop the Viltrumites from taking over the planet. Currently, there doesn’t seem to be a hero (or villain for that matter) on the planet that can stand up to someone like Thragg. However, given that fans have seen how D.A. Sinclair’s reanimen can make a normal human after death, Cecil might finally get a chance to test his reaniMarks, made from the corpses of the alternate Marks collected in the wake of the Invincible war.

That seems to be the only line of defence that Earth can have against the Viltrumites. With Eve’s powers still malfunctioning, no one can expect a last-minute assist from her like the case was with Conquest. With Robot and Amanda also missing in action, the best bet that Cecil has is getting the Immortal back in the game, who didn’t stand a chance against Nolan, and definitely would not stand a chance against Thragg. However, the Kaiju that had its pain receptors removed could also make another appearance, given that it at least put Nolan on the back foot, and therefore could at least be a problem for the Viltrumites.

The Coalition of Planets, however, could come in handy here, given that the Scourge Virus currently remains untouched in a vault in Talescria. With Allen as the new leader of the coalition, will he resort to releasing the virus on Earth? Only time will tell.
