On Thursday, Toronto Police said the man is being sought for the murders of Ibrahim Handule, 26, and Deshawn Walters, 27, both of Toronto – the city’s 61st and 62nd homicide victims of the year.
“At this time, we cannot confirm whether this third individual was responsible for the death of Ibrahim or Deshawn, but we do know he was one of the shooters involved,” Homicide Det.-Sgt. Phillip Campbell alleged.
“We understand how distressing this situation is for the community. We share your commitment to bringing the person responsible for the senseless violence to justice.”
Two days ago, police said neighbourhood officers from 31 Division heard sounds of gunshots in the Jane St. and Driftwood Ave. area.
When cops arrived to the area, they found two men with injuries from gunshots and performed life-saving measures.
