Prepare to be hit with waves of nostalgia as the iconic snack brand from Hostess is now available in stores.

And it’s not just potato chips.

Munchies are now also available in tortilla chip form, as well as a popcorn incarnation.

The retro brand also had these red, yellow and orange mascots, which are being brought back.

Back in the day, the Hostess chips were packed in those brightly coloured bags that cost 25 cents at the time.

Ah, the good ol’ days.

Today, the markup is a little higher, priced at $3 a bag (plus applicable taxes), but there are more options and flavours.

The thick, crunchy potato chips come in Tangy Ketchup and Old School BBQ flavours.

But snackers can also get their fill from two kinds of tortilla chips.

Chili Cheese Stampede is described as a “Tex-Mex-inspired spice blend with a rich creamy cheese flavour,” while the Supreme Sour Cream and Onion puts a twist on a classic sweet and savoury onion flavour.

There are also two popcorn options — Cheeky Cheddar, which has a rich, smooth, creamy, cheesy flavour, while Deliciously All Dressed has that iconic tangy and sweet flavour combination with a hint of smokiness.
