HSV hold fresh talks with Arsenal over Fábio Vieira in London

According to a local report, Hamburger SV sporting director Claus Costa has travelled to London for fresh talks with Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta and Fábio Vieira, as the Bundesliga club remain keen to bring the midfielder back.

With the summer transfer window drawing to a close, Hamburger SV are refusing to give up in their attempt to bring back Fábio Vieira following the Arsenal midfielder's impressive loan spell at Volksparkstadion last season.

According to Hamburger Abendblatt, Hamburger SV sporting director Claus Costa has travelled to London to meet with the 26-year-old and once again make it clear that the club are keen to sign him on a permanent deal.

Costa also reportedly held talks with Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta, as the two clubs continue negotiations over a possible transfer.

So far, HSV have offered just under €10 million for Vieira, while Arsenal have been hoping for another suitor to come forward with a significantly higher offer.

Vieira, 26, scored seven goals and provided six assists in 31 appearances for HSV last season.
