“He does it to everyone”: Sandra Bullock Had Revealed Ben Affleck’s Dark Side Years Before Jennifer Garner Had to Painstakingly Suffer

After ten years of marriage and three years of being on their separate paths, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner finalized their divorce in 2018. To this day, they continue remaining in each other’s good books, with Jennifer Garner reportedly being a great help during Bennifer 2.0’s troubled marriage. The ex-couple had their fair share of ups and downs and eventually, fate broke them up.

Jennifer Garner has previously vouched about how Ben Affleck possessed the power of making you feel like the most special person on the planet one moment, and leave you hanging the next. As it turns out, this was exactly what Sandra Bullock was talking about years ago when she filmed Forces of Nature with the DCEU actor.

Sandra Bullock Gets Brutally Honest about Ben Affleck

The 1999 rom-com Forces of Nature starred 2 forces of nature alongside each other – Ben Affleck and Sandra Bullock. However, the actress probably didn’t have the time of her life on the set.

Talking about her experience on Bronwen Hughes’ film with Entertainment Weekly, Bullock complained about Affleck’s issues with punctuality. She stated that the man couldn’t reach a place on time. On top of that, he has a hard time following through with plans.

The actress also added that Affleck knew just how to make a girl feel like a queen when he showers her with attention. However, there will come a time when he just…stops. The girl will be left wondering where it all went downhill.

She said,

Ben can never show up anywhere on time. When he’s with you he gives you so much attention you feel like a queen, so when he says ‘I’ll call you for dinner’ and you don’t hear from him, you feel like, ‘What did I do wrong?’ Since he does it to everyone, you can’t take it personally.

While Affleck couldn’t bother to respond, he would get frustrated if others treated him the same way.

But then if you don’t call him back right away when he calls, he goes nuts, leaving messages like, ‘Why didn’t you call me back, I called you an hour ago, why don’t you call me BACK?’

Unfortunately, Bullock isn’t the only one who felt this way when it comes to the Justice League star.

Jennifer Garner Echoes Sandra Bullock’s Statement

Divorce with Affleck wasn’t easy on Jennifer Garner, especially thanks to the growing interference of the media and tabloids. She had to deal with separating from someone she thought was the love of her life as well as ensuring that their children didn’t suffer all while the media hounded her family.

Talking to Vanity Fair in 2016, a year after the news of their separation shocked the world, Garner stated that she didn’t know what she was getting herself into.

She said,

Of course, this is not what I imagined when I ran down the beach, but it is where I am. We still have to help each other get through this. He’s still the only person who really knows the truth about things. And I’m still the only person that knows some of his truths.

She went on to add that she wasn’t marrying Ben Affleck the superstar, she was simply marrying the man behind the glitz and glamour. Garner has no ill feelings toward her ex-husband as she said, “He’s the love of my life. What am I going to do about that? He’s the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous.”

Echoing Bullock’s above-mentioned sentiments, Garner stated that Affleck could make you feel so special and then take it all away in an instant.

He’s just a complicated guy. I always say, ‘When his sun shines on you, you feel it.’ But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it’s cold. He can cast quite a shadow.

Despite the painful separation, Garner was certain that she would do it all over again if she ever had a chance to go back into the past.
