Tony Tony Chopper is a major character who appears in the One Piece series. He makes his debut in the Drum Island Arc as Doctor Kureha’s apprentice. Apart from being a blue-nosed reindeer, he is a skilled doctor with a zeal for knowledge. In addition to that, his devil fruit abilities set him apart from most Zoan-type users. However, there’s more to this character than meets the eye.

While the teaser looks more than promising, season 2 will certainly exceed fans’ expectations. From character costumes to set designs, the production team’s work is par excellence. This also holds especially true for the VFX work that is the core of this live-action series.

Netflix is all set to notch up the second installment of live-action with its VFX prowess

From Luffy’s gum-gum pistol to Sea King’s attack on Shanks, the VFX team takes the cake with its rendition of iconic scenes. Some of the most iconic battle scenes in the series are recreated through VFX. To say the least, the team excelled in recreating the devil fruit abilities. However, the excellence of recreating these visuals goes beyond the frontiers of devil fruit.

From News Coo to battleships, VFX designers have done backbreaking work in bringing Oda’s illustrations to life. Framestore, one of the VFX studios involved in this project worked on some of the major scenes in the series. In addition to that, the series’ budget for every episode is grossed due to its superior VFX quality.

All in all, the second installment of the live-action series is no less than an art. With superior VFX visuals, set designs, and costumes, the second season looks more than promising.

One Piece live-action is available for streaming on Netflix. The manga is available for reading on Viz Media.
