Epic Games always brings something new for players in Fortnite from time to time to keep things interesting. As players look for new content in Fortnite in the new year, a leak has surfaced claiming that James Cameron’s Avatar and Devil May Cry collaborations are coming to the game and will bring brand-new skins for players.

According to a new leak via XboxEra‘s Shpeshal Nick, new skins might be coming to the game as part of the collaboration with Avatar and Devil May Cry.
Nick stated that he received a DM from a source and the skins are coming soon to the game. It is reported that a mysterious image was spotted on the body of a gun on the new Chapter 5 Season 1 loading screen, and it looked similar to Dante, the main protagonist of the Devil May Cry. Nick also mentioned that a Jake Sully skin will also be coming to the game with an Avatar collaboration.
A Dante skin might be coming to the game with the DMC collab.However, these skins might not arrive to battle royale. There are rumors that there will be several Devil May Cry cosmetics to choose from. It is important to know that Shpeshal Nick has previously accurately predicted the Doom Slayer at the end of Chapter 3 and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaboration. The Doom Slayer collaboration happened in Chapter 4 Season 1 and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles outfits are now available in the game.
These predictions make him a reliable source but not everything mentioned has come true, so it is advised to take this with a grain of salt. Moreover, there is no release window mentioned for the arrival of the skins so it might be a while before players can play as Dante or Sully in the game. There are also chances that weapons and other items from both Avatar and DMC might come to the game and could be featured in Battle Pass.
Players on Reddit are excited about knowing about both potential collaborations and are expecting to see more character skins from DMC including Virgil and Nero. Many fans are also expecting to see multiple styles for Dante from several games such as DMC3 and DMC5. It would be interesting to see how the game incorporates Avatar skins as Na’Vi’s are much larger and tall than other in-game characters. A human skin of Sully is also a possibility but that wouldn’t make much sense.
Jake Sully from Avatar is said to arrive in the game.Even though many players seem to take this leak seriously many still have their doubts. Some players mentioned how Nick had once said that The Last of Us collaboration was coming to the game, but it was quashed by the developers. A fan also mentioned that the character image on the loading screen which is linked to Dante is a stretch and it might not be true but only time can tell. If the collaboration indeed comes, this will be the first collab between Fortnite and Capcom.
Fortnite is currently in Chapter 5 Season 1 which will be running till March 2024 and has brought several new things for players to enjoy. The latest season brought new Lego, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival game modes, new weapons and skin, and more. The game also added characters like Peter Griffin from Family Guy, Goku from Dragon Ball Z, and more. The new season brought new weekly quests that players can complete to level up faster than ever before and much more.
