Two Toronto men are charged in a Northern Ontario bust that yielded $160,000 worth of illicit drugs.

Ontario Provincial Police say the two accused are among five individuals facing a combined 38 charges following a drug trafficking investigation in Timmins.
In February 2026, members of the OPP-led Provincial Guns and Gangs Enforcement Team and the Timmins Police began an intelligence-led probe into a network with alleged ties to the GTA suspected of trafficking drugs across northeastern Ontario and Québec.
The OPP says four search warrants were executed on May 26 at residences in Timmins, Ont., and in Kapuskasing, Ont., where officers allegedly seized two loaded handguns, ammunition, 990 grams of suspected cocaine, 350 grams of suspected fentany, 230 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 150 suspected methamphetamine tablets, a quantity of suspected MDMA tablets, hydromorphone tablets and lorazepam tablets, $2,795 in cash, 11 cellphones, digital scales and packaging

The five people charged
Deven Che, 23, of Toronto, faces 16 charges in relation to firearms, drugs, possession of proceeds of property obtained by a crime under $5,000, failure to comply with a release order and disobeying a court order.
Marc Williams, 46, of Toronto, faces eight charges in relation to firearms, drugs, and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Rainbow Metatawabn, 33, of Timmins, faces nine charges in relation to firearms, drugs, and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Vanessa Niemi, 42, of Kapuskasing, faces three charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one for failure to comply with a release order.
Kory Donovan, 42, of Timmins, faces one charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine.
