ANIML Steakhouse & Cocktail Den will soon boast the $91 “Naz Kadri Sando” on its menu, thanks to their culinary collaboration with former Toronto Maple Leafs centre Nazem Kadri.

What will you get for that price?

The over-the-top gourmet sandwich features premiere A5 Wagyu tenderloin slathered with a the restaurant’s house-made Bulldog sauce all on shokupan bread, a soft Japanese milk bread that boasts a thin golden crust.

If you’re drooling, that’s a good thing because your mouth may already be open over the jaw-dropping price of the over-the-top sando.

The hefty, near-$100 price tag allows for diners to also experience the mouthwatering meal in an extravagant setting — and the best part is it’s all for a good cause.

The steakhouse says that 100% of the profits will be donated to the Nazem Kadri Foundation, his London, Ont.-based charity that supports initiatives that advance healthcare innovation, mental health, food security, and community services.

The price tag for the pricey sandwich matches the number Kadri wore with the Calgary Flames and his previous and current stint with the Colorado Avalanche, though some might argue that they would have preferred to donate $43, the number of his Leafs jersey for 10 seasons.
