Every Marvel Rivals Event Pass So Far, Ranked by Value

Event Passes have become one of Marvel Rivals‘ favorite ways of delivering themed cosmetics, from comic-inspired costumes to completely original designs. Naturally, not every pass offers the same bang for your buck, especially once you start comparing how many premium rewards each one actually has on offer.

For this ranking, we’ve focused on measurable value by comparing each Event Pass’s Lattice price against the number of premium cosmetics included. The quality of a given cosmetic will always come down to personal preference, but this approach gives every pass the same objective yardstick. With that out of the way, here are all 19 Marvel Rivals Event Passes ranked by value.

19 Summer Special

The original Summer Special Event Pass, released during Season 3 and available from July 17 to August 22, 2025, sits at the bottom of the list, as far as being value-for-money is concerned. At 990 Lattice, it offered just seven premium cosmetics, working out to 141.43 Lattice per premium reward, the highest cost on this list.

While the pass still featured some memorable summer-themed cosmetics, including the highly sought-after Cool Summer skin for Luna Snow, it simply didn’t offer the same quantity of premium rewards that later Event Passes would, making it the weakest value proposition overall.

18 Summer Special Vol.2

Summer Special Vol. 2 arrived as a follow-up to the original during Season 4, once again costing 990 Lattice. This pass increased the premium reward count to eight, bringing the effective cost down to 123.75 Lattice per premium cosmetic.

That gives it a slight edge over the original Summer Special by our methodology. Whether it’s actually the better Event Pass, however, ultimately comes down to which cosmetics you value more.

17 Ancient Powers Awaken

Ancient Powers Awaken was the second 990 Lattice Event Pass released in Marvel Rivals and was initially available in Season 3.5 from August 21 to September 12, 2025. Like Summer Special Vol. 2, it offered eight premium cosmetics, putting it at 123.75 Lattice per premium reward and tying for the second-lowest value on our list.

That said, the pass still had plenty to like, particularly for Venom and Iron Fist players, with the Reborn King in Black and Phoenix Fist costumes headlining the premium track. Doctor Strange players also walked away happy thanks to the free Old Man Strange costume, even if the premium side didn’t offer as many cosmetics as later Event Passes.

16 Savage Adventure

Savage Adventure launched with Season 8 on May 21, 2026, carrying the now-familiar 990 Lattice price tag. It included 12 premium cosmetics, bringing the cost down to 82.50 Lattice per premium reward, a noticeable improvement over several earlier premium Event Passes.

The pass revolved around Hela’s Savage Monarch and Luna Snow’s Sonic Trailblazer costumes, which gave it two standout premium skins despite a relatively modest reward count.

15 Hellfire Gala 2026

Hellfire Gala 2026 continued the run of 990 Lattice Event Passes during Season 7.5, offering 12 premium cosmetics. That works out to 82.50 Lattice per premium reward, putting it in a three-way tie with the next two entries on this list.

The highlight was easily the Hellfire Gala theme itself. Premium buyers received gala-inspired costumes for Phoenix and Moon Knight, while the Emma Frost skin, one of her most-requested comic outfits, was available completely free. As always, though, whether that lineup is worth 990 Lattice ultimately comes down to which heroes you actually play.

14 FLIGHT MODE! World Tour Merch Vol.2

Released in Season 7, FLIGHT MODE! World Tour Merch Vol.2 also came in at 990 Lattice with 12 premium cosmetics, giving it the same 82.50 Lattice-per-reward value as Hellfire Gala 2026 and Savage Adventure.

The pass leaned into a disco-inspired theme, headlined by Magik’s Infernal Idol and Star-Lord’s Groovy Guardian costumes, while Namor’s Sea Samba outfit was available on the free track.

13 FLIGHT MODE! World Tour Merch

The original FLIGHT MODE! World Tour Merch Event Pass nudges ahead of its sequel by including 13 premium cosmetics for the same 990 Lattice price. That lowers the cost to 76.15 Lattice per premium reward, making it one of the better-value premium Event Passes.

Spider-Man’s Groovy Swing and Psylocke’s Psychedelic Pulse were the main premium attractions, while Hela’s highly classy Disco of the Dead costume was free for everyone.

12 Van Dyne Couture

The newest Event Pass on this list, Van Dyne Couture launched alongside Season 9 and is still available at the time of writing. For 990 Lattice, it offers 14 premium cosmetics, bringing the cost down to 70.71 Lattice per premium reward.

Fashion is the clear theme here. Everyone can earn Magneto’s free Magnetic Vintage costume, while the premium track includes Adam Warlock’s Tailored Perfection and Invisible Woman’s Baxter Building Beauty, alongside the usual collection of MVPs, emotes, sprays, and other cosmetics.

11 Venom’s Bubble Pop

Back in Season 2.5, Venom’s Bubble Pop proved that an Event Pass didn’t need dozens of premium rewards to offer respectable value. At just 490 Lattice, it featured seven rewards in the premium track, working out to 70 Lattice per premium reward, narrowly edging out Van Dyne Couture.

The rewards themselves also helped its case. Everyone could claim Human Torch’s Future Foundation costume for free, while the premium track included Venom’s Pink Bubble skin before culminating in a Costume Coin that can be exchanged for an eligible costume (or Units) from the dedicated Store page.

10 Queen’s Codex

Queen’s Codex arrived during Season 3.5 alongside Blade’s debut in Marvel Rivals, offering 10 premium cosmetics for 690 Lattice. That works out to 69 Lattice per premium reward, making it the first Event Pass to drop below the 70 Lattice mark.

The premium track featured Hela’s Queen in Black and Black Widow’s Phoenix Widow costumes, while one of the best skins for The Thing, Symbiote Thing, was available for free. Combined with its lower asking price, it offered a much healthier balance between cost and premium rewards than many of the 990 Lattice Event Passes.

9 Gone Nutty For Gifts

Although this holiday-themed Event Pass cost 990 Lattice, players could unlock 15 premium cosmetics, bringing the effective cost of Gone Nutty For Gifts down to 66 Lattice per reward.

As the title suggests, seasonal costumes for Winter Soldier, Squirrel Girl, and Magneto headlined this event, and the festive presentation helped it feel more substantial than a typical Event Pass. It wasn’t cheap, but at least it backed that price up with plenty to unlock.

8 ESU Open Day

ESU Open Day continued the excellent run of 690 Lattice Event Passes during Season 7.5. With 11 premium cosmetics, each one effectively cost 62.73 Lattice, tying it with the next two entries on this list.

The pass leaned into Empire State University, featuring student-inspired looks for heroes like Psylocke and Squirrel Girl, while Mantis’ Black & Gold costume was available free to everyone. If you already planned on spending 690 Lattice, this was one of the easier premium upgrades to recommend, given that you actually play one of the two characters.

7 Citizenship of Monster Kingdom

Launching in Season 6.5, Citizenship of Monster Kingdom matched ESU Open Day almost reward for reward. It also cost 690 Lattice, offered 11 premium cosmetics, and landed at 62.73 Lattice per premium reward.

The event celebrated the Lunar New Year with panda-themed cosmetics, including Rocket Raccoon’s Giant Panda and Jeff the Land Shark’s Duck Defender, while Squirrel Girl’s Red Panda costume sat on the free track. Even without topping the rankings, it offered plenty of value for its price.

6 Seeds of the Gardener

Seeds of the Gardener rounds out the top five with the same 690 Lattice price tag and 11 premium cosmetics, working out to 62.73 Lattice per premium reward. It shares the same value on paper as the next two entries, making the cosmetics themselves the deciding factor for many players.

The free track rewarded players with Iron Man’s classic Mark I armor, while the premium side featured Iron Fist’s Shenloong Champion and Captain America’s Capwolf costumes. For 690 Lattice, it packed a healthy amount of premium content without asking players to spend the full 990 Lattice.

5 Jade Scrolls of K’un-Lun

Released during Season 4.5, Jade Scrolls of K’un-Lun was another 690 Lattice Event Pass that struck an excellent balance between price and rewards. With 12 premium cosmetics, each one effectively cost 57.5 Lattice, making it one of the best-value premium passes Marvel Rivals has offered.

The premium track featured Psylocke’s popular Fleeting Butterfly costume and Spider-Man’s Black & Gold recolor, while Storm’s Queen of Orphans outfit was available for free.

4 Twisted Nightmare

Released during Season 6.5, Twisted Nightmare was unlike any other Event Pass before it. Instead of splitting rewards between free and premium tracks, all 12 rewards were locked behind a 690 Lattice purchase, giving it the same excellent value as Jade Scrolls of K’un-Lun at 57.5 Lattice per premium reward.

Rather than spreading the rewards across multiple heroes, the pass went all in on Scarlet Witch, culminating in her Twisted Conjurer costume alongside a full set of themed cosmetics. If you are a Wanda main, this is one of the easiest premium purchases to justify, even if it was more specialized than most Event Passes.

3 Jeff’s Break Time

Jeff’s Break Time arrived with Season 5 and marked the first Event Pass to really expand its reward track. For 990 Lattice, players could unlock 18 premium cosmetics, bringing the effective cost down to just 55 Lattice per premium reward.

The pass featured Mister Fantastic’s Dad-tastic Reed and Invisible Woman’s Disappearing Dessert costumes on the premium track, while everyone could earn Jeff the Land Shark’s long-awaited Business Shark outfit for free. It also landed right around Marvel Rivals’ first anniversary, when NetEase was clearly feeling extra generous with the amount of content packed into its seasonal events.

2 Krakoan Reels

Still available at the time of writing, Krakoan Reels launched during Season 8.5 as part of the Rivals’ Summer Festival 2026. The fishing-themed Event Pass offers 20 premium cosmetics for 990 Lattice, working out to just 49.5 Lattice per premium reward, only a hair behind #1.

The premium track features the swimsuit-themed Coastal Couple for Cloak & Dagger and Coastal Wall-Crawler for Spider-Man, while everyone can unlock Mister Fantastic’s Fantastic Beach Bod through the free track. Combined with the fishing minigame and Exchange Store progression, it easily ranks among the most content-rich Event Passes Marvel Rivals has released.

1 Combat Chest

As the very first Event Pass in Marvel Rivals, Combat Chest had the difficult job of convincing players that these limited-time “mini battle passes” were worth buying in the first place. Released during Season 2.5, it cost just 690 Lattice while packing in 14 premium cosmetics, working out to an unmatched 49.29 Lattice per premium reward.

NetEase was clearly testing the waters with this one, and players responded exactly how the devs had hoped. Compared to buying individual Store bundles, Combat Chest offered too much value to ignore. The experiment paid off, and seventeen more Event Passes later, it’s still the one to beat.
