On-screen lovers Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa are going to officially reunite for a new project titled A Roadmap to Happiness. The duo appeared together during the first season of Game of Thrones as Khal Drogo and Daenerys Targaryen back in 2011. Although Khal Drogo was killed off, he reappeared in a cameo scene during the season 2 finale of Game of Thrones in 2012, and shared the screen with Daenerys.
14 years later, the pair will appear once again in a new limited docuseries that explores the road to happiness. Announced at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival, it was reported by Deadline that Clarke, alongside Marvel star Josh Brolin, will be joining Momoa in the already star-studded series. Alongside Momoa, Clarke, and Brolin, Shailene Woodley, Elijah Wood, and Alec Baldwin will also star in the series with author, podcaster, and presenter Darin Olien.
What Is Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa’s Latest Project About?

The series will explore the definition of happiness, the ingredients required to be happy, and different approaches to living happily.
Co-host and executive producer Olien explained the series to be about “the people, rituals, and perspectives that remind us how to reconnect to ourselves, each other, and what truly matters.”
Momoa, who hasn’t confirmed which country he will be traveling to, stated that this journey with Darin Olien “makes it even more special.” Although Clarke hasn’t commented on her views about the docuseries, it seems likely that despite being on the same project, Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa might not share the screen together at all.
Will Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa Share the Screen?

It has been confirmed that Clarke will join the series in Portugal, a country recorded as having some of the happiest children in the world.
It hasn’t been confirmed whether Jason Momoa will join Clarke alongside Olien, but the probability seems to be quite low. Marvel star Josh Brolin has also been confirmed to travel to Finland, a country consistently ranked amongst the happiest countries in the world, for the series finale.
Although it isn’t clear where Momoa’s pursuit of happiness takes him and Olien, we are pretty sure that the Aquaman star won’t get to share the screen with his co-star Emilia Clarke, despite working on the same project.
