Alabama’s latest music superstar, Ella Langley, dominated the 2026 Country Music Association Awards nominations announced Thursday, with a whopping nine nods, including Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year.

The 27-year-old singer-songwriter shot to fame this year with her hit single Choosin’ Texas from her sophomore album, Dandelion, surpassing her mentor and the record’s co-producer, Miranda Lambert, in nominations.

Coming close behind with seven nods, Lambert is also competing against Langley in the Female Vocalist of the Year category.

Songwriter/producer Ben West and Kacey Musgraves each scored five nods, with Musgraves’ nominations including the big categories: Album of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year for Dry Spell.

Country music heavy hitters Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton each earned four nominations, including Entertainer of the Year, while rising star Stephen Wilson Jr. also earned four nods.

The nominees were announced on ABC’s Good Morning America Thursday morning, with the full list livestreamed on the CMA’s official YouTube channel.

Lainey Wilson, who is a triple nominee this year, returns as host of the 60th Annual CMA Awards, which will broadcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 8 p.m. EST (7 p.m. CST) on ABC and Disney+.
