Dortmund willing to sell Özcan if suitable offer arrives amid interest from 1.FC Köln

The Turkish midfielder is expected to head for the exit door in either winter or next summer's transfer window.

Sky Germany is reporting that Salih Özcan may be allowed to leave Borussia Dortmund as early as this winter if a suitable offer comes in.

The Turkish international's contract with BVB expires in the summer and is not expected to be renewed.

There are many enquiries for the 27-year-old midfielder, who is behaving in an exemplary professional manner and training well.

According to the article, 1.FC Köln are keeping a very close eye on the situation involving their former player. 

Özcan initially joined from Köln in May 2022 for a reported €5million fee and went on to make 63 Bundesliga appearances for Dortmund. 

He spent half the 2024/25 campaign on loan at VfL Wolfsburg where he largely featured as a sub in 11 games but only played 345 minutes.
