The existence of aliens has been one of the most intriguing questions that has been bugging humans for over a century. While it’s safe to say that we’re potentially not alone, given the infinite size of the universe, many also believe that our Earth is yet to be graced by their arrival, as there has been no definitive evidence, apart from theories.
While Donald Trump too had no definitive stance on the subject when he was asked if aliens exist in Area 51 or not, he did recount some pilots experiencing some unexplainable occurrences.
Donald Trump Assured Viewers Certain Area 51 Pilots Are Allegedly Better Than Tom Cruise
When Donald Trump was posed with the question about aliens, even though he didn’t have any definitive answer, stressing “I don’t think I’m a believer”, he did shed light on some pilots, who he claimed were “Better Than Tom Cruise”, witnessing some unexplainable occurrences.
Speaking of the Area 51 pilots he interviewed, Trump recounted that “they’ve seen things that they cannot explain”, and one of them even allegedly witnessed a round object, which was moving four times faster than their F-22.
All I know, sir, is there was a round object that was going four times faster than my F-22,’ which is a very fast plane. Four or five guys I’ve interviewed, solid people, great pilots for the US Air Force, etcetera, they’ve seen things that they cannot explain.
As for the comparisons with Tom Cruise, it isn’t clear if his comments alluded to the Oscar-nominated star’s looks or piloting skills. While it’s hard to lean on the first possibility of some pilots at Area 51 being better than Cruise in terms of looks, it appears Trump was referring to his piloting skills. But it remains unclear if the former president was alluding to the actor himself or his Top Gun counterpart, Pete Michell.
Top Gun 3’s Production Has a Date Per Glen Powell
As for the future of Pete Mitchell, we might not be too far from seeing Cruise putting his piloting chops to the display once again. Although the Mission: Impossible star signed a new deal with Warner Bros. earlier this year to develop new theatrical experiences, this isn’t stopping Cruise from partnering with other biggies in the landscape.
With Top Gun 3 receiving the greenlit at Paramount, renowned star Glen Powell revealed they already have a date regarding when the production will commence. Unsurprisingly, when asked about further details, he refused to elaborate. But considering Cruise is currently busy with the eighth installment of the MI franchise, and recently joined forces with Alejandro G. Iñárritu for his next studio release, the threequel might be quite far away.
Top Gun: Maverick is available to stream on Paramount Plus.
