Muzan aside, the Upper Moons are the scariest bunch in Demon Slayer. They’ve killed and eaten plenty of Hashira, and the Corps paid heavily to bring most of them down. Still, Kokushibo, Doma, Akaza, Nakime, Gyokko, and Kaigaku would be in for a rough day if JJK‘s heavy hitters showed up.
Jujutsu Kaisen‘s Satoru Gojo, Kenjaku, Yuta Okkotsu, Ryomen Sukuna, and Toji Fushiguro can each handle all six on their own. Here’s how every one of them would do it, from a domain that freezes enemies in place to a sword that cuts straight through the soul.
1 Satoru Gojo Erases Demon Slayer‘s Upper Moons Without a Scratch
Satoru Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen | Credits: MAPPAGojo wouldn’t need a plan. Infinity means anything coming at him slows down and never reaches him, so Kokushibo’s crescent blades, Akaza’s shockwaves, and Kaigaku’s lightning fizzle out before they land. Blue yanks the demons together, Red blasts them apart, and Hollow Purple, the two combined, annihilates whatever it touches.
Demons regenerate, sure, but nothing grows back from nothing. Anyone who’s somehow still standing gets Unlimited Void, which floods them with infinite information and leaves them frozen. Doma can’t call up his ice, Gyokko can’t hop between vases, and Nakime can’t strum her biwa. It’d be over before they understood.
2 Ryomen Sukuna Grinds the Upper Moons to Dust in Malevolent Shrine
Ryomen Sukuna from Jujutsu Kaisen | Credits: MAPPASukuna wouldn’t bother with tricks. He’d open Malevolent Shrine and just let it run. The domain slashes everything up to 200 meters around him without a break, using Dismantle on whatever has no cursed energy and Cleave on whatever does, and it doesn’t even need walls to work.
Regeneration only helps until the next cut lands. Once the ground has been chewed into dust, he chants Fuga and fires the Divine Flame, and all that dust goes off like a bomb. He’s called the King of Curses for a reason, and six demons won’t change that.
3 Kenjaku Buries the Upper Moons Under an Army of Absorbed Curses
Kenjaku from Jujutsu Kaisen | Credits: MAPPAKenjaku has been alive for over a thousand years, and no Upper Moon comes close to that. He’d fight from inside Suguru Geto’s body, sending wave after wave of absorbed curses at the demons while he stays back and watches. When they push through, he squeezes those curses together with Maximum: Uzumaki and unloads them in one huge blast.
Uzumaki can also pull techniques out of strong curses, which is how he got to use Mahito’s Idle Transfiguration once. If a demon does land a hit, Reverse Cursed Technique patches him right up. He isn’t in a hurry.
4 Yuta Okkotsu Brings Rika and a Domain Full of Copied Techniques
Yuta and Rika from Jujutsu Kaisen 0 | Credits: MAPPAYuta walks in with Rika, the Cursed Spirit that stores his copied techniques and lends him her Cursed Energy, which is a nice head start on its own. Then he opens Authentic Mutual Love, a field packed with katanas that each hold a technique he’s copied.
He can’t tell which sword holds what until he grabs one, so the Upper Moons never know what’s coming either. Cursed Speech could stop Akaza mid-punch, and Sukuna’s Cleave could open up Kokushibo. He already pulled this domain on Sukuna himself, so six demons with Blood Demon Arts won’t rattle him much.
5 Toji Fushiguro Cuts Through the Upper Moons With No Cursed Energy
Toji Fushiguro from Jujutsu Kaisen | Credits: MAPPAToji Fushiguro has zero Cursed Energy thanks to his Heavenly Restriction, and what he got in return is a body that’s ridiculously strong. He keeps his whole arsenal in an inventory curse, so the right weapon is always in reach.
The Split Soul Katana skips past a target’s physical toughness and cuts straight into the soul, which could make regeneration a lot less useful. The Chain of a Thousand Miles gives him range, and Playful Cloud handles the up-close mess. This is the man who stabbed Gojo through his Infinity; a handful of demons isn’t going to slow him down.
