The finale also points toward major status‑quo shifts for Wilson Fisk, BB Urich, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Heather Glenn, setting up a darker, more interconnected street‑level story going into Season 3.

That prison storyline has strong comic roots. Brian Michael Bendis’ Out arc and Ed Brubaker’s The Devil in Cell Block D both dealt with Murdock’s secret identity and imprisonment. Season 3 may borrow from those stories while adding its own MCU flavor. Iron Fist could matter here because, in the comics, Danny Rand briefly wears the Daredevil suit while Matt is imprisoned.
