Coca-Cola and Oreo have teamed up to give the people what they probably didn’t know they wanted or expected.
The popular brands have launched a limited edition drink and cookie, respectively, to give consumers a one-of-a-kind flavour experience that combines the sandwich cookie and fizzy beverage.
The collaboration is inspired by besties around the world, according to the companies, so real-life besties can celebrate with the launch of two legendary products.
Given how much sugar is in a regular Coke, the collaboration features its Zero product — with a twist.
The packaging might look familiar but it offers a new taste.

A sip of the Coca-Cola Oreo Zero Sugar Limited Edition will give drinkers the familiar taste of the beverage with “flavourful hints inspired by Oreo cookies.”
Meanwhile, the cookies come in a colour-blocked design where one side is a red-coloured Golden Oreo wafer. The other side is a “signature Oreo chocolate Coca-Cola wafer cookie,” and are “stuffed with a creamy filling and popping candy.” It’s all supposed to be designed to make each bite is akin to drinking the beverage.
