Building up to their clash with RB Leipzig, Merlin Polzin revealed that Sebastiaan Bornauw will not be available for Sunday's away game.

“Seb Bornauw is out due to muscular problems," HSV's coach explained, after the Belgian picked up problems in their 5-0 loss to Mainz.

“Kofi [Amoako] is sick and therefore also has no chance to come along. Alex [Røssing-Lelesiit] is still in build-up training,” he added.

On a more positive note, Polzin confirmed that "the rest of the team is fully in training and thus also an option for the squad.”

That means good news for both Sambi Lokonga and Warmed Omari who both partook in most of team training this week.

Rooted to the bottom of the Bundesliga, HSV will be hoping to change that against an out-of-sorts Leipzig side on Matchday 3.
