Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Leaks are Getting So Out of Hand the TYBW Head Writer is Asking Leakers to Stop

After the mediocre ending to Bleach, Tite Kubo returned with Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, which had already stunned its fans. They would agree that the anime features a storyline that resonates with the very essence of the source material and a jaw-dropping anime that would give it a run for its money.

Additionally, censoring a few scenes has hugely benefitted it as it is available to everyone, hugely boosting the viewership. Needless to say, the writers have given their 200% to breathe life into the title. Hence, in all accord, the series is a fan-favorite watch.

However, Masaki Hiramatsu, the head writer of the series, is not delighted because they took to their social media to plead with the leakers to stop leaking their work overseas. Hiramatsu warned that they will be forced to take countermeasures against the leakers who are so eager to make money out of their hard work.

In the charismatic world of anime, hundreds of amazing titles are set to release that create a wave of excitement among the viewers. However, each year this feeling is tarnished by the leakers, which have become a major issue not only in the manga industry but also in the anime industry as well.

The newest victim of these leakers is Tite Kubo’s Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, which created a huge buzz online right off the bat. From the very first episode of the show, it hooked its fans, making them forget about the delay that followed its release.

The series is an absolute masterpiece that elevates the standard of storytelling and animation, setting a new bar that other series have to meet. As a result, the leakers ruining the hard work of the writers and the animators feel tragic and are making everyone’s blood boil.

However, Masaki Hiramatsu, the head writer of the series, was not having it because he took to X, where he, at first, expressed his annoyance with their work being leaked. The plea was followed by leaving a warning to the leakers. He wrote,

そういうのリポストしてる人は、積極的にブロックしていこうと思います。
ほんと、やめてくださいね。

Using unauthorized streaming platforms has heavily aided in making anime and manga a popular source of entertainment. Sadly, the leakers exploit the sentiments and enthusiasm, so that they can benefit from the hard work.

Bleach Community Comes Together to Put a Stop to Leakers From Hurting the Anime Industry

With more and more series continuously getting plagued by these leaks, ruining the excitement following the series, the head writer and the community have had enough of it. The essence of the work is ruined, making a major chunk walk away from the series.

Following Hiramatsu-Sensei’s plea, the community voiced their opinion on the post, where they offered suggestions and ideas to prevent these parasites from ruining their favorite series, They commented,

As much as I personally like the leaks (I have my reasons, although I do not support their existence at all), it really isn’t right or fair to the staff that so much of the content you all worked on releases earlier than intended in ANY way. I’m so sorry this keeps happening.

Even though blocking is not a permanent solution for these leakers, several studios, including Studio Pierrot, have taken drastic measures, such as stricter policies and tighter security, which have prevented several studios and the series from shining.
