Black Clover: 5 Strongest Dark Disciples in The Series, Ranked

In Black Clover, the Dark Disciples may not have the same name recognition as the Dark Triad, but the series makes it quite clear that these devil-powered mages are anything but ordinary. Each of these Disciples is a Stage Zero mage, and their abilities are further enhanced by devil power.

Basically, they can be some of the most fearsome and deadly enemies in the series. So, in this list, we will discuss five Dark Disciples while also understanding how they fare against each other. Also, we’ll rank them based on their overall magical abilities and how well they performed against other powerful characters.

5 Halbet Chevour’s Hair Magic Makes Her a Deadly Disciple

At first glance, Halbet Chevour may look like a typical arrogant villain. However, her hair magic makes Halbet surprisingly dangerous. As one of Vanica’s Dark Disciples, she can manipulate her hair into spears and defensive barriers, allowing her to go on the offensive and defensive at the same time.

We got a taste of Halbet’s powers when she defeated Potrof, one of the Heart Kingdom’s Spirit Guardians, on her own. Honestly, it’s her ability to overpower a Spirit Guardian that earns her the fifth spot. However, unlike other Dark Disciples on the list, Halbet simply lacks versatility when it comes to fighting techniques or abilities.

4 Sivoir Snyle’s Eyeball Magic Gives Him a Major Advantage

Sivoir Snyle is a dangerous Dark Disciple, particularly because his Eyeball Magic gives him an unusual advantage in battle. He can use this ability to create additional eyes, thus improving his sniping abilities. It also lets Snyle attack his opponents at long range with concentrated magic bullets, basically making him a deadly assassin.

Snyle’s fighting prowess is so effective that he even defeated Floga, a Heart Kingdom Spirit Guardian, without any help. However, Leopold eventually figured out how to locate Snyle and countered his long-range attacks. And since Snyle isn’t that dangerous in close-range battles, he takes the fourth spot on the list.

3 Foyal Migusteau’s Mist Magic Makes Him Extremely Difficult to Find

In Black Clover, Zenon’s (one of the strongest spatial magic users in Black Clover) disciple Foyal Migusteau brings something really different to the battlefield: his Mist Magic. Not only can he use the mist to conceal his true location, but he can also create illusions of himself to confuse his enemies. On top of that, he can condense his mist into water bullets, which are powerful enough to shatter Steel Magic.

While Foyal can use only up to 40% of his devil’s power, he gave Golden Dawn members a lot of trouble by tracking them in his mist. After that, Foyal continued to attack them from different angles. Of course, Klaus and Letoile eventually helped defeat Foyal, but his deception and control of the battlefield put him third on the list.

2 Svenkin Gatard’s Skin Magic Makes Him Hard to Defeat

Without a doubt, Vanica’s disciple Svenkin Gatard has one of the most troublesome defensive abilities among the Dark Disciples. His Skin Magic lets Svenkin soften or harden his skin depending on the attack, allowing him to absorb or resist incoming blows.

Before Luck found a way past Svenkin’s frustrating defenses, Svenkin even defeated a Spirit Guardian. On top of that, Svenkin can use up to 50% of Megicula’s power, and that alone puts him above the three Dark Disciples we’ve already discussed. However, when it comes to being a threat, there’s one more character who stands above Svenkin.

1 Gaderois Godroc’s Stone Magic Makes Him a Fearsome Powerhouse

If any Dark Disciple deserves the first spot on the list, it’s definitely Zenon’s disciple, Gaderois Godroc. His Stone Magic allowed him to dominate a large portion of the Golden Dawn almost single-handedly. His devil-enhanced stone became harder than iron or steel and withstood attacks from some of the most powerful Magic Knights.

Gaderois also defeated several Golden Dawn members and even injured Yuno before being defeated. Although he could use only 40% of his devil’s power, his battlefield feats make Gaderois far more dangerous than other Dark Disciples.
