Even if he's beginning to establish himself in the senior national team, Tom Bischof says he would like to represent Germany at the U21 Euros next summer.

Having been the captain and a key part of the German U21 national team since making his debut in October 2025, Tom Bischof was most recently called up to the senior side, where he started and impressed in two games.

Given his performances against Serbia and Greece, it wouldn't be hugely surprising to see Germany coach Jürgen Klopp hand him another call-up in November.

However, despite breaking into the senior team, Bischof insists he is not done with the U21s just yet.

Above all, the Bayern Munich midfielder is determined to represent Germany at the 2027 U21 Euros in Albania and Serbia.

“I’m not done with the U21s,” Bischof underlined in a post-match interview after Sunday’s 0-0 draw with Greece, via iMiaSanMia.

“I definitely want to be there in the Euros next summer. Even if Jürgen Klopp promotes me [to the senior team], I’m up for both.”
