Beşiktaş list Nübel as priority target for goalkeeper position

The 29-year-old has been placed as Beşiktaş' number one target for the goalkeeper position, but the player currently isn't keen on a move to Turkiye.

Alexander Nübel is the current top target for Beşiktaş who are desperately searching for a new first-choice goalkeeper.

Talks have already taken place with the player's representatives and FC Bayern Munich regarding his future. 

It has been widely reported for some time now that the 29-year-old has no chance of getting minutes in Vincent Kompany's side.

Nonetheless, there is money to be made and Bayern’s demands for a transfer are understood to be well above €10million.

However, it’s difficult for the Bundesliga champions to envisage a sale as Nübel does not currently prioritise a move to Beşiktaş. 

The shot-stopper has several other unnamed options and is listening to their interest, but everything would need to fit.

Meanwhile, it seems increasingly unlikely that Nübel would return to VfB Stuttgart after three years on loan with the Swabians.
