Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have reached an amicable agreement in their separation. According to TMZ, the actor has given the singer his stake in the $60 million mansion they bought when they remarried.
The US media has had access to the court documents showing this settlement, which is described as a "transfer of property between spouses". It was in May 2023 that they acquired the property, located in Beverly Hills, paying $60,850,000 in cash, plus millions of dollars in improvements.
They have been trying to sell the house since July 2024, but have not found a buyer to date, so Affleck has made this decision. At first they asked for $68 million, but now it is for sale for $52 million, where Jennifer Lopez still lives.

An anonymous source explained to People magazine that this decision was made "jointly": "While they were hoping to sell the property, they were also reluctant to take a significant loss. They lowered the price to generate more interest and, when that didn't happen, they were advised to take it off the market. It was a business decision they made together. Waiting for the context to be more favorable seems the most prudent thing to do."
The residence covers almost 11,582 square meters of floor space. It is equipped with 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms, as well as a garage for 12 vehicles. Other areas of the house include a separate 1,524 square meter penthouse, a caretaker's house and a separate two-bedroom security staff residence. There is also a sports lounge, gymnasium, boxing ring and basketball and pickleball courts.
