Guerlain Absolus Allegoria Rose Amira Eau de Parfum

They say: A rich rose fragrance from the French beauty and fragrance house Guerlain that features notes of frankincense and patchouli blended with the prominent rose notes.

We say: Made with French beetroot alcohol, this fragrance boasts ingredients up to 90 per cent natural origin. Our tester, a fan of rose fragrances, found this scent to be wonderfully warm and balanced, with the notes of spice balancing the floral bloom. The long-wearing scent wore nicely on skin with an entricing trail of musk.

Fable & Mane Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner 

They say: Volumizing shampoo and conditioner formulas that feature strand-loving ingredients like Fenugreek seed, onion juice and Amla extract to add volume, promote hair growth and condition strands.

We say: Starting her hair cleansing routine out of the shower with the brand’s bestselling HoliRoots Pre-Wash Treatment Oil, our tester then put this shampoo and conditioner to work in the shower. A little goes a long way. The products smell amazing, she reports, with a spicy-warm scent that lasts on hair. After use, our tester noted a definite lift to her roots pre- and post-styling.

Embryolisse Radiant Complexion Cream Apricot Glow

They say: An apricot-tinted face moisturizer that features Nasturtium flower and hyaluronic acid to hydrate and revive skin.

We say: Our tester applied this face cream with a beauty blender. The subtle tint gives skin a very subtle glow. The intensely hydrating cream gives skin an instant drink and proved to prep skin perfectly for a smooth makeup application.
