Ava Dash, 26, gives update on fling with Kyle Cooke, 43, after they’re seen kissing in the Hamptons

Ava Dash is playing coy about her relationship status after she and “Summer House” star Kyle Cooke were caught locking lips in the Hamptons over the weekend.

“We were having a good time,” the “Next Gen NYC” star, 26, explained in an exclusive new interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea.”

When asked if she would be open to experiencing more of that “good time” with the 43-year-old DJ, Dash did not share any further details.

“I’m open to having a really great summer, and I’m having a really great summer. I just want to have fun.”

The PDA-packed outing came as a surprise to many fans, considering Cooke denied any relationship with Dash back in March.

Dash revealed, however, that those around her are pretty excited to see where the new romance takes them — well, everyone except for her famous father, Damon Dash.

“The one person who I don’t know is shipping it that hard is my dad,” she explained, admitting that she “didn’t warn” her father of any potential headlines before news surfaced.

“So, that was something he just saw. He sent [the article] to me and he said, ‘Are you kidding me?'”

The Bravolebrity told us that her dad took issue with her “kissing in public,” but she explained to him that he didn’t “know the whole story.”

While she didn’t explicitly state where she and Cooke currently stand, Dash couldn’t help but gush about her friendship with Cooke and the rest of the “Summer House” cast.

“Honestly, me and Kyle and a lot of the ‘Summer House’ people are in the same friend group now. We’ve all gotten so close,” she shared.

“It’s not something I was expecting, but a lot of my best friends are friends with him and friends with Jesse [Solomon]. Like, I went to Coachella with Jesse and Mia [Calabrese], so I got to really know her there. I love their friend group so much.”

Dash added: “I’ve always been friends with people slightly older than me. So, I just feel very comfortable with them.”

As Page Six exclusively reported, a spy caught Cooke and Dash getting very cozy in their VIP section at the Palm Tree Music Festival on the Shinnecock Nation grounds in Southampton.

“They were hanging out at a table in the VIP section for sponsor Celsius,” the eyewitness said. “It seemed like something romantic was going on from the way they looked at each other. There was definitely a vibe that they were into each other.”

Another source told us that the two reality stars were “kissing openly.”

While one insider told us that the duo are still in the “very new” stage of “talking and hanging out,” another source close to Cooke — who ended his marriage to Amanda Batula earlier this year — emphasized that they are not dating.

Cooke and Dash were first romantically linked in March when they were reportedly caught holding hands at a dinner — but Cooke quickly shut down the speculation.

“I am not [dating Dash]. No, that was a very friendly dinner,” he told host Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live” in March.

“We were at a family dinner doing a family blessing, holding hands, so I was holding her [hand].”
