Angelina Jolie shares special tattoos with some of her children: They mean a lot to us

Angelina Jolie and her daughter Vivienne made sure their recent time working together won't soon be forgotten.

The pair worked together on the Broadway musical 'The Outsiders', and the 49-year-old actress revealed in an interview with CR Fashion Book that she and her 16-year-old daughter marked the occasion by getting matching tattoos.

"I got 'Stay Gold' with my daughter Viv during our time with The Outsiders," Jolie revealed. 

The phrase refers to an original song which Jolie co-produced with the help of Vivienne that is used in the play.

"It means so much to us separately and together," Jolie added.

While Jolie revealed that her tattoo is located on her wrist, she didn't reveal where Vivienne decided to get inked.

Jolie opens up about everything

The revelation comes as Jolie sat down and discussed a variety of topics for CR Fashion Book's October Issue. The actress features on the cover, and in the interview she talked about being a mother and her career.

One topic discussed was her decision to become a lead producer on 'The Outsiders'. She was encouraged to do so by Vivienne, a theater lover, after she saw the musical adaption of S.E. Hinton's novel at La Jolla Playhouse in 2023.

Along with her tattoo with Vivienne, Jolie also revealed she has another tattoo with one of her children, though she didn't specify who.

"There is also a Bird that I share with some of my children that is personal to us," said Jolie, who is mom to Maddox, 23, and Pax, 20, daughters Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, as well as Vivienne and twin brother Knox, with her ex-husband, Brad Pitt.
