Angelina Jolie Says She Has A 'Bird' Tattoo She Shares With 'Some' Of Her Kids 'That Is Personal To Us'

In a recent interview with CR Fashion Book, Jolie, who has a large collection of tattoos, revealed that some of her six children, Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15, have gotten a tattoo.

When interviewer Carine Roitfeld asked about her latest tattoo, Jolie explained, "I got 'Stay Gold' with my daughter Viv during our time with 'The Outsiders.' It means so much to us separately and together."

The "Maleficent" actress also shared that some of her other children have matching tattoos.

"There is also a Bird that I share with some of my children that is personal to us," she noted. Jolie first revealed the bird tattoo at the Tony Awards in New York City in June.

The photoshoot for CR Fashion Book, which coincided with the eight-year anniversary of her divorce from Pitt, featured Jolie rocking wild, curly blonde locks.

According to the Daily Mail, her son Pax also captured behind-the-scenes moments from the session, which photographers Luigi and Iango shot.

Jolie also discussed the reason why she started the fashion house.

"My intention was to build a space—a home, really—for people to create and be inspired," she explained. "The house is comprised of artists and designers from around the world, and at the heart is an invitation to re-engage in design and build community."

"My mother was a very globally minded, thoughtful person who often spoke to me about injustice," the actress said. "When I was in my twenties, I started to travel and realized how much I had not been taught in school or was aware of."

She continued, "I began my education, or reeducation rather, then. I began traveling to areas of conflict and post-conflict. Listening. Learning. My world view is very much shaped by refugee families, and I have so much respect for them."

"I hate it when I see the media and politicians using these families for their own gain," Jolie added, per Daily Mail. "No one would choose that life. We are honored to have Eat Off Beat in residence. They are a refugee chef collective, and wonderful to work with."

When asked about her guiding principles, Jolie said, "I don't have a motto, but freedom has always been important to me. For myself and others."

She Plans To Leave Los Angeles When Her Twins Turn 18

During a chat with The Hollywood Reporter, Jolie spoke about her plans to leave Los Angeles, travel the world, pursue her career, and be surrounded by her loved ones.

The actress revealed that although she's done with LA, she can't leave because of her ongoing divorce battle with Brad Pitt and their custody agreement regarding their kids.

The agreement states that Pitt has visitation rights to their youngest kids, Vivienne and Knox, which means she can't move away with them.

However, Jolie will be free to leave LA once they turn 18 in July 2026. The agreement only applies to the twins, as their four other kids are already adults.

During the interview, Jolie said, "I grew up in this town. I am here because I have to be here from a divorce, but as soon as they're 18, I'll be able to leave."
