The passenger was not in the vehicle at the time of the robbery and no one suffered physical injuries.

Police said the suspect fled in a second limo that was found by officers in the Kingston-Liverpool Rds. area of Pickering and stopped. The seven occupants – two of whom were released unconditionally – were taken into custody.

They said three firearms were seized, two of which had prohibited overcapacity magazines, and cash was found. Police said one of the firearms had an altered serial number and the other was stolen from the U.S.

Nicole Marie Prout, 47, and Elias Mahamoud-Hill, 19, both of Toronto, were both charged with offences including possessing a firearm with no licence, possessing a prohibited/restricted device and tampering with the serial number of a firearm.
