While the show has found a new audience since its debut on Netflix and Peacock, fans have been wondering where the actor has gone since the show ended in 2019. Gabriel Macht May Be Focusing On His Family After Suits

For nine seasons, Gabriel Macht entertained audiences with his witty quips and Hail Maries in the legal drama Suits. The show also featured Patrick J Adams, Meghan Markle, Sarah Rafferty, and Gina Torres in lead roles as members of the fictional law firm Pearson Hardman. The show chronicled the various cases and personal lives of these lawyers.

Macht has not featured in anything since Suits ended in 2019. The actor’s last public appearance was at this year’s Golden Globes where he joined his co-stars Adams, Torres, and Rafferty to present an award. Before that, he reprised his role as Harvey in the spinoff show Pearson. He only appeared in one episode.

When the show ended in 2019, Macht opened up about his plans post the show and how he would like to focus on his family. The actor mentioned that he felt a real sense of freedom after finishing the show and spoke about traveling with his family now. He said to TVInsider,

I feel I’ve put some creative good into the world and now I want to put some creative heart, more focus and energy into [being with] my wife and my family. And explore some other interests that I might have. You know, I think when you’re in Harvey’s head for so long, you sort of split in some ways. And so I’m looking forward to being in Gabriel’s mind.

The actor also mentioned that he was satisfied with Specter’s emotional arc in the series and had said his goodbyes to the character. However, he did return for an episode in Pearson.

Will Gabriel Macht Return For The New Suits Spinoff Show Suits L.A.?

While Gabriel Macht is at the center of a new surge of fame since Suits became available on Netflix and Peacock, the actor is not confirmed to appear in the upcoming spinoff show Suits L.A. The show is set to star Arrow’s Stephen Amell and does not feature any of the original stars as of now.

While Macht has not indicated that he will return nor has he expressed any enthusiasm for coming back, his co-star Patrick J. Adams has been game for returning. The actor said to EW,

It’s all in the early stages. It’s a show in the Suits universe, like a Suits LA. If I got the phone call, I’m ready to suit up again.

While Macht did make it to the previously canceled Pearson spinoff, his appearance in Suits L.A. still might just be a dream.
